SOMETHING only works in Windows NT or XP - that's a NON-STARTER if its talking about anything other than generic code-reading software included with the cable, UNLESS the Cable ITSELF is supposed to work with Windows 10. It concerns me that whoever wrote the description of the capabilities of the tool and any associated software can't describe it in understandable terms. You MAY be able to get a cable that will work with INPA (or ISTA) from Amazon for 35% of that price such as this one, BUT see caution below: I have the BimmerGeeks K+DCAN cable, and it does work with INPA, but it is rather pricey at $45. You can get the software (free download) from various sites, including either BimmerGeeks, or Bimmerfest: Assuming your laptop has Windows 10 OS, minimum 2GHz processor and 4GB RAM, with at least 60GB free HD space (for INPA & SP-Daten files, E89, a LOT more HD space needed for ISTA), any of the following applies. I believe you need a K+DCAN cable for INPA or ISTA, although I am NOT familiar enough with 'Geek-speak' to give you a good definition of what that means.
